Late Fall / Early Winter
2009

Thanksgiving / Christmas!
We have had a real good
Thanksgiving and Christmas season. All the families were together,
everyone got along, it was great.
I got a chance to take Greta
to a Daddy / daughter camping trip this season too. We had a blast.
It's nice to spend some one-on-one time with your kids. This was the
first overnight trip though. We got to play Frisbee Golf, do some
archery, and we even played Uno with about 10 other dads and daughters.
We don't have a picture of it, but we do have great memories. This
time we're only posting 130 pictures. I swear, now that there's no
film, it's too easy to have lots of good pictures.
Enjoy...

Late Summer / Early Fall
2009

RV!
Have you ever seen the Robin
Williams movie "RV"? It's about a family that goes across country in a
rented RV. We took a page out of that book when we rented one to go to
Erin's wedding in October. It was OUTSTANDING!
Erin's Wedding was amazing
too. We got to see Jeff's parents house, and they even let us stay at
their place. We got to see cousin Pete and his family, and Cousin
Billy and his family. What a time we had. And to top it off,
when I returned from the trip, I was served with a subpoena! Isn't
that fun! Oh well. Enjoy the
photos.

Summer 2009

The summer of LICE!
I know it's been a while
since I updated the site, but I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't
have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners.
An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an
earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault, I swear to god!
Things on the home front are
still real good. The kids are healthy and happy, no one's failing out
of school yet, no one's pregnant, no one's wrecked the car. I'm just
lucky I guess. There are literally hundreds of
pictures this time, so go get a cup of coffee,
take the phone off the hook, and enjoy.

Spring 2009

Hello Family. It's been
a while, and we've had some good family growth since we last met.
Greta won a science fair. She got the blue ribbon. (What's that?
They all got blue ribbons? Oh, well, don't tell anyone) Jack had a VERY
exciting spring, as he's graduating to Kindergarten, and he learned to ride
a bike! It took him 30 seconds. I gave him one push, and off he
went. Amazing. Teresa continues to follow in Greta's footsteps.
She's wearing all her old clothes, she LOVES princesses, and is going to
begin ballerina classes in the fall. She's turning 4 this month!!!
Can you believe it? Me neither. Enjoy the ridiculous amount
of pictures this month...

Fall/Winter 2008

How funny is it that my
family and relatives are busting my chops about how long it's been since I
updated the site. It lets me know that I'm not the only one looking at
these pictures. We've got a lot this time. We had a trip to
Cancun, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even Greta's first swim meet.
She's a Green Dolphin. It was a lot of fun watching her with her
friends cheering each other on. I got to be a time keeper during the
event. Greta took second and third in her two races. Pretty
cool! OK, Next time I talk to you
it'll be Fall! Just kidding. Have another great summer.

Summer 2008

Summer has come and gone
already. I know it's a common theme with me, and I'm not the first to
say it, but life really flies. As I write this we're getting ready for
Halloween. More birthdays, parties, BBQs, the works. Greta's in 2nd grade, Jack
and T are in preschool...Maggie planned an awesome vacation for us in sunny
New Glarus Wisconsin. It's been a lot of fun. This project has become a lot
harder lately, as the digital camera holds thousands of pictures, and I have
to go thru them and pick the best, what? Two Hundred? It's
ridiculous. OK, see you soon.

Spring 2008

It's now July. I'm
updating the site for the first time since March. I used to be quick
about this. Oh well. At least it's getting done. A lot has
happened since we last met. Greta has lost about 10 teeth, Teresa had
a birthday, as did Greta (Greta 7, Teresa 3, Jack 4) and Jack is now a Mario
Brother's expert (along with Super Heros).
The pictures here are from Mother's day, birthdays and our trip to Michigan
to see Shelly and his family.
Have a great summer. |
Winter 2008

March 2nd. It's been
almost four months since I've updated the site. I apologize.
As the kids get older, the size of the issues get larger. They take
more time, the job gets more demanding, blah blah blah. But we'll
get by :)
Things around here are great. Greta is starting to sound like an
adult, Jack is trying to become a boy, but he's surrounded by girls.
Two sisters, two female cousins on Jesse's side, two female cousins on
Maggie's side, and NO BOYS! Poor little guy. All he's got is
me, Pup and Jess. And Jess is busier than a one armed man in a coat
hanging factory. Teresa, she's a doozy. Always either LAUGHING
or crying. It's a wonderful life. |

Children Learn What They Live

-Dorothy
Law Nolte
|
If children live with
criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have goals.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves
and in those around them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place
in which to live.

The Waterkotte Wärmepumpen GmbH
is a company in Germany that sells Waterkotte heat pumps. I received an
email from their company asking that I put a link to their site on this
one. How can I refuse? If you have a minute, check it out.
It's pretty cool.

This web page is not one of deep intellectual thought, nor do I
have
delusions of grandeur contained within. This is merely a self promoting waste of
bandwidth for family and friends. I do, however, see big things on the
horizon. For the time being, feel free to view some photos and
browse the sites.
