Summer 2008 (Mid-2008)

I don't even know how to start this entry.  It's been almost 6 months since I last updated the site, and it feels like an eternity.  I'll start with news about me, and go right down the line:

I shaved my head.  I made the leap.  Finally.  My cousin, brother and Dad "jagged me" hard enough about my David Letterman patch that I eventually got fed up and just did it.  The family was shocked at first, but we're all used to it now, and we've moved on.

Maggie is going to start working more this fall.  She's going to be subbing and working at the nursery school that the kids are going to.  She's excited.  She's also recently become addicted to video games.  I'm not kidding.  "ROCKBAND" is all the rage.  If you're not familiar, click this link: ROCKBAND.  Maggie's a lot better than this mom at singing.  She's actually amazing.  But this video will give you an idea of the bit.  Drums, Guitars, and a microphone.  The whole family plays....neighbor kids, relatives, it's so much fun it's ridiculous.  The kids and Mags got it for me for father's day, and we're all losing sleep and any productivity we had b/c all we can think about is ROCKBAND.  Last thing I'll say is this....here's an article titled "How Rockband saved my Marriage" (written by a woman named Rachael Shukert.  It's getting a ton of press.

The kids are great.  Jack is growing fast.  He's still into super heroes and video games, and not really into sports at all.  Maybe that will change, and maybe I'll have an artsy kid.  As long as he's happy, I'm OK with it.  Greta is just as sweet as ever.  Going into SECOND GRADE!  Sheesh.  Teresa is amazing.  She's funny, and goofy, and has about 10 different looks.  She can look like a little kid, like a big kid, like a boy, like a sassy girl, like a sweetie....she's going to be a riot.  Greta 7, Jack 4, Teresa 3.  We're out of diapers, out of the Baby Days....we're heading into full on kid mode.  Oh boy....OK, enjoy the new pics.
