| I can't believe we're into 2006 already. Does anyone
remember the Y2K disaster scare? It seems like yesterday sometimes,
and then sometimes it seems like ages ago. I can't believe how much
has changed for us in the last 5 years. We've had three kids, two
houses, and a vasectomy since then. I've taken on another new career
(this is my 46th job and my fourth career - if you count waiting tables a
career) and another 20 pounds. I have lost ALL of my hair, but
gained a lot of knowledge about myself. Life really has
changed since the turn of the century.
The Holiday's were great. I mean, for the kids (and thus for
us). We literally were sick though, from the day after Christmas,
until after the new year. It was awful. You know how you get
when you're sick? All you want is some peace and quiet, and
maybe a little sympathy. Now imagine Maggie and I feeling like that
at the same time, and the kids being needier than they usually are.
It was very tough. But as always, we got thru, and we're stronger
for it.
Life is good, the job is good, and the kids are good to. I just
wish I could say the same for the pictures this month...there are a couple
of decent ones, but the others are simply for memory's sake.
