We arrived at Shannon Airport 28 hours since our last wink of sleep, and it was mid-day Ireland time.  Our hotel wasn't ready yet, so we did as much light touring as our weary legs would allow.  We saw Bunratty Castle.  Built in 1480, this castle houses the oldest Pub in Ireland.  Dirty Nelly's was build on the Bunratty grounds in 1670.  We had a nice meal and a pint here that evening.  Off to Limerick and Galway Day 2.
