Aunt Mame's Funeral

                                                                            October 25th 2001

Our wonderful Mame passed this year, and it was really a bummer to realize our mortality through the loss of the most phenomenal lady that ever lived.  She took care of Dad like only a mother could, and took care of us like only a Grandma could.   Aunt Mame was the kindest, most gentile woman I have ever met, and I never heard her say a negitave word in my life.  Everything she said, not only was it exactly what you had just said,  somehow sounded sweeter than if someone else had said it.   I really miss her, and I know dad misses her more than anyone (even though he and Lynn laughed through the funeral).  My favorite Mame story took place at my parents house about 10 years ago.  Dad had a friend that looked like a biker guy, and he talked her into asking the guy for pot.  It was absolutly hillarious.  We're really going to miss you Mame, we love you!

Here are some shots from the funeral...
