| Christmas has come and gone, and the weather has been
crazy. I had a week off after Christmas, to prepare for my new job,
and while I was off, it was 50 degrees...we went to the zoo. That's
not typical Chicago weather for December. In fact, we saw people
jogging in shorts and t-shirts (I wouldn't do it, but people are nutty in
this kind of weather). No sooner did we take our coats off in
December, January hit, and the temperature dropped 50 degrees.
Fun! It was ok though because with the bad weather came the
snow. We took the kids sledding last weekend and had a blast.
Jackson is just old enough to walk, but not old enough to walk in the
snow, so he did a lot of standing and watching. Naturally the one
time I took him down the hill with us, we wiped out and he got a nice face
full of snow. So if you asked him how it was, he'd probable say
"da da da da", meaning "keep me away from that
thing". He's not quite talking yet. He's starting to make
sounds that sound like words though. He said "nana"
pointing to a banana the other day. He also says "uh
oh". So he's learning (he's 14 months).
Greta is back in ballet, and she loves it. Maggie gets to watch
sometimes, and I got to see one of her classes during my week off.
I'm glad too because it's amazingly cute.
Along with everything that happened in the last month, I graduated
too. I have included a few pictures that I didn't have last
month.
Other than that, things are cruising right along. The new job is
really hard. I am like a fish outta water. I don't know enough
about the product I'm selling to be comfortable yet. I imagine I'll
be ok here in a little while, but for now it's very frustrating.
Enjoy the pictures... |
