This month was better
than last month for sure. No
one almost died! How about
that? …that’s one month in
a row. We’re starting a new
streak.
This was our vacation
month. It was really a lot of
fun. We went to the Wisconsin
Dells. I have come to learn
that there are two ways to do the Wisconsin Dells (water park capital of
the world). One way is to stay
at a motel right on
Tacky Lane
(smack dab in the heart of
Cheesy
Valley
), and visit ALL of the “public monster water parks”; or the way we
did it. We found a “monster
resort” and rented a 2 bedroom condo for a few days. The
monster resort has it’s own private water park, and 6 different pools
(all equipped with some form of water excitement tool – slide,
waterfall, tube river, waves etc.). When
the water fun got exhausting, we could go back to our “house” and
relax. We didn’t have to
worry about going out to eat if we didn’t want to, it had a kitchen. If
we wanted to travel thru
Cheesy
Valley
, we could just load up the car, go see the sites, and then go “home”.
I have to say, I imagine it is
way more fun to do it the way we did it.
Jesse
told me about the first way, and he didn’t have ANY fun. Call
me if you’re ever going to the Dells…I’ve got lots of good stories
for you, and a couple ideas too.
It was nice, and when we
got back,
Greta
started school. Kindergarten.
Already. Can you
believe it? All
day, every day. She’s loving it too.
She was scared to DEATH all summer. She
didn’t even want to talk about it. But
after a single day, she seems to be thrilled with it.
She’s been bouncing around all week.
I’m not exactly sure what it is…

and I thought it was going to be really hard. When
you look “shy” up in the dictionary, there’s a big picture of
Greta
there…so when she actually said “I love kindergarten” the other day
we were shocked. I think it
may have something to do with the little girl down the street.
She started school at the same time as
Greta
and is in the same class. Only
she makes
Greta
look like
Robin
Williams
. She’s so shy she can
hardly speak, so
Greta
has kinda taken her under her wing. I
figure that must be why she’s taking this all in stride. I’m
glad too, because as I said, we were all a little worried about G-Love. OK,
