APRIL 2005

The backyard started coming together last summer when Jesse and I built the deck.  But the yard didn't get finalized till last weekend.  I breifly mentioned on the front page that we had a horrible backyard when we moved in, but I knew we could make it nice, it just takes time.  So after we built the deck, I spent the end of last summer filling the bottom level with mulch, and timbers, and top soil to make it flat (it was the polar opposite of flat when we moved in).  We got some help last September adding dirt (a Bobcat and 3 truckloads of dirt) and it cleared the way for the finishing touches.  We're really happy with the way things turned out...I really need to get on the neighbors roof so I can get a real good overview of the yard...but I'll get that done this summer.  Check it out...
